Shane Loar is an experienced healthcare and business executive with more than 25 years of leadership in home health, hospice, senior care, staffing, and franchise operations. He is known for building strong teams, developing strategic partnerships, and leading organizations with integrity, accountability, and a people-first approach.
Shane earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah and an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University. His career began in healthcare administration, where he founded and led Guardian Home Care & Hospice from startup to a premier, CMS-licensed multi-site agency serving Idaho and Oregon. As Executive Director, he oversaw more than 200 employees and managed operations across Medicare, Medicaid, third-party insurance, and private pay sectors. He also served as President of the Idaho Association for Home Care for eight years.
In addition to his healthcare leadership, Shane owned and operated a Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchise in Boise, Idaho, where he strengthened operations, implemented compliance and CRM systems, and led marketing initiatives including SEO and digital advertising. Most recently, he served as Branch Director for Emblem Home Health and Hospice in Arizona, successfully launching a new branch office, building key community partnerships, and achieving early census and financial goals.
Throughout his career, Shane has remained committed to mentoring others, fostering meaningful professional relationships, and creating sustainable organizations that positively impact the communities they serve.
